|
8 | neighbors allemande right 1½
| |
B1 | 8 | gentlespoons start a half hey - lefts in center, rights on ends
|
8 | neighbors swing (on side of set ladles started dance)
| |
B2 | 8 | balance the ring, left foot first, and spin/slide left one place within ring
|
8 | partners swing (on side of set they started)
|
Gentlespoons note current neighbor gentlespoon, ladles note ladle in next foursome to right of current neighbor. Pull by right noted (same role) person across set. Partners courtesy turn, adjust so facing couples contain ladles who pulled by.
At ends one member of each couple pulls by a ghost.
Couples out at end wait on same side to re-enter dance.
Alternative: Balance the rings right foot first, and slide/spin right. This results in gentlespoons, rather than ladles, swinging twice on their home side. (One could also alternate or switch versions during the dance)
