[A1] - Normally an allemande L * does not take 4 beats, but this forgiveness is designed. Since the last part of the wave formed will be [ladles] taking lefts, this gives the [ladles] a little catch-up time should it be needed.
[B2] - The star into a wave is sequential, with neighbors taking R first, then [ladles] taking L.
