At the start of the dance, your shadow is on the other side of your partner (and their partner) from you.

*scoot: As in "Scooter", gentlespoons slide to their right to courtesy turn a different ladle (in this case their shadow). On the ends, gentlespoons scoot around the end, racetrack style.
