Your dancers might get very confused when you tell them to twirl to new neighbors because the ladles are on the left. Tell them it will be fixed momentarily and not to worry.
(The Jersey Twirl is apparently what some places call the reverse of the California Twirl; meaning that the gentlespoons have their right hand and ladles have their left. It's not really a star through but feel free to call it that if you think it'll help people understand.)
The concept on this one was that you keep briefly seeing your next neighbors (ie, the future that will be soon); first in the couples do-si-do, then in the weird twirl-to-new-neighbors thing.
