Stand in a circle with your partner, facing in. The one on the right, the gentlespoon, turn around to face out. Gentlespoon take left with current partner and right on the other side to a wavy line all around the ring.

Have partners face. Gentlespoons are progressing counterclockwise, and ladles clockwise. This makes it nominally harder to teach than a dance where the next partner is also the neighbor.
