B1 circular hey is the same as a square through four without hands. The last pass by right with your original neighbors puts you facing your next neighbors. The “mad ladle 1/2” is really just one more pass by right with next neighbors, but dancers should transition to facing their partners.
In the B2, optionally, you can replace the half mad ladle with a next neighbors pass by right shoulder along the set, but the mad ladle does a better job setting up the partner swing.
