The pass to a wave and robins allemande ½x may be better prompted as a robins allemande 1x while the larks cross to the other side. The timing there is squishy, so make sure to prompt the balance on time and not early. The waves form at the sides and the circulates happen across the set, with the end result being that couples are carried into progressed positions. The choice to describe the moving people as first and second corners is somewhat arbitrary, but is the closest fit to the situation, since it involves a non-partnered lark/robin pair crossing the set and another non-partnered lark/robin pair looping each time.
