A2: emphasize that the gentlespoons finish the first mad ladle moving left and back, sink back while the ladles trade, then gentlespoons move forward and right to retrace their steps for the mad ladle in the other direction. If they don't take those beats to prep and consciously reverse direction, then the gentlespoons are just sort of standing there without any momentum and it's tricky to get the next mad ladle to go the right way.
