The is the first and, so far, only dance I've written incorporating a left and right through. After pulling by left across the set the gentlespoons reach out their right hands to the ladles and the ladles courtesy turn the gentlespoons. Other than that this is all straight forward stuff. Name inspired by the English Country dance General Grooviness of the Universe by Brooke Friendly and Chris Sackett which features two changes of lefts and rights, as well as, obviously, the classic Disney movie The Emperor's New Groove.
