chose this instead of pooh bear's holiday because too many down-the-halls in the evening is a bad look
chose this over Atlantic Mixer because it teaches balancing the wave
Error here in teaching it with half a hey at first, but corrected.
One dancer thanked me for the variety, which was the point of including a four-facing-four, but I worried if I required too much from the dancers.
A quick walkthru dance, a barnburner, after something more difficult.
Moved up as a simpler substitute for overly-fussy "Starburst"
Substituted to make an easier dance for the first after the break
Blissful. Balance forward and back, walk to new wave, shadow allemande to partner B&S
Fast and easy dance for the end

Bill Olson notes: The A part of this dance came from Vermont fiddler, Amy Cann. The rest kind of came together before a Concord (MA) Scouthouse gig on Feb 23, 2004. I used this easy dance to start off the evening that night. It is dedicated to my good friends from the venerable Boston area band, Yankee Ingenuity: Peter Barnes (who always enjoys a good pun), Mary Lea, Jack O'Conner and Cal Howard.

Written one night when I left my cards on the kitchen table. Sent a friend
to retrieve them, but in the meantime wrote this as a stopgap. It remained
nameless for a couple of years till Robert Cromartie called it and afterward
Gene Hubert asked "What was the name of that Awesome Double
Progression Dance?"
