Bradley Smith Notes: Originally, the last figure of this dance was a neighbor do-si-do 1 1/2, but I usually swap it for the ring balance and pass through to make the progression as simple as possible for inexperienced dancers.

Dosido as much as you want, until it’s time to balance - it’s a free country.

[2] To flow into the orbit figure, consider an open ladles chain, where ladles pull by right, and then neighbor N2 allemande left 1. The transition also works well with a twirl substituted for the courtesy turn.
[3] In tight quarters, it helps if gentlespoons from other sets intersect by passing each other by left shoulders.
[4] I strongly recommend an open gentlespoons chain, where gentlespoons pull by left, and then partner allemande right 1. Not only will this be less confusing than a regular gentlespoon's chain, but the ladles will have proper momentum into the orbit.

B1: partners pass right on the sides; ladles pass left for 1/2 hey, gentlespoons ricochet, then ladles ricochet while gentlespoons 1/2 hey.

Original dance progresses in A1 with circle 3 places & pass through to swing next neighbor. I prefer this slide & circle variation.
